AIEO 2027 invites original contributions of six to eight pages on the application of artificial intelligence to energy systems. Topics include, but are not limited to:
Track 1. AI, learning and forecasting
AI for energy systems, machine and deep learning, time-series forecasting, load, demand and price forecasting, renewable generation forecasting, predictive analytics, explainable and trustworthy AI, digital twins and data-driven modelling, big data analytics, edge and distributed AI.
Track 2. Intelligent control and energy optimization
Optimal control, model predictive control, adaptive and robust control, energy management systems, demand response, multi-agent systems, distributed and decentralized control, stochastic optimization, real-time optimization, scheduling and resource allocation.
Track 3. Smart grids, renewable energy and power systems
Smart grids, microgrids, renewable energy systems, solar and wind integration, battery storage, hydrogen and conversion technologies, electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, grid operation and planning, DC links, stability and resilience.
Track 4. Power electronics, reliability and diagnosis
Power converters, smart inverters and converter control, electrical machines and drives, condition monitoring, fault detection and diagnosis, predictive maintenance, reliability assessment, asset management, industrial automation, embedded systems for energy.
Track 5. Sustainable data centres and digital infrastructure
AI-driven energy optimization of data centres, energy management, smart cooling, workload scheduling, sustainable design, PUE optimization, carbon footprint reduction, sustainable computing, renewable integration, reliability and resilience, edge and cloud infrastructure, sustainability metrics.
